The Zoo safari Fasanolandia is the first wildlife zoo park in Italy and one of the biggest in Europe per number of species. It holds approximately 1700 specimens from 200 different species, in an area covering approximately 140 hectares of Mediterranean maquis. 

Alberobello, famous for the distinctive trulli houses, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. 

The Grotte di Castellana, a complex of underground caverns of Karstic origin which are of great interest in terms of caving and tourism. 

Ostuni, known as the White City, characterised by the whitewashed lime villas of the old town.
